One fine day a man named Michael Cunningham won a Pulitzer Prize. This was, of course, for his novel The Hours, which charts a day in the life of three women: acclaimed British writer Virginia Woolf, depressed suburban housewife Laura something, and New York lesbian Clarissa something.

Today, we’re joined by celebrated actor Cole Doman to talk about the seminal text and it’s film adaptation by Stephen Daldry, who cast Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, and Julianne Moore in one of the great movies ever made. Let’s dive in, shall we?
